We bought my sons birthday present on overstock.com and it didn't work. They sent us a free shipping label to send it back and then sent us a new one. Before that....I can't remember. I've worked in customer service and seen a lot of people whine about little things and very few people actually notice the good things, so I always try to say something positive when someone has done a great service.

Today. I went into a store to buy a bag and saw that they were selling bags made of real animal fur. I had already picked out a (vinyl) bag. I went up to the manager and suggested he not buy animal fur bags as it was a cruel trade. He offered to give me $20 off my bag after apologising and saying he didn't know they were real fur. I went and bought a bag at another shop.

Normally I do not complain but I am often in the habit of providing feedback, hopefully constructive ones. It was about three months ago when I was at the Food Court of Metro Prima Jusco that I noticed at least two baby cockroaches racing across the table I was at. I thought the management should know about this problem and so I raised a feedback form to express my concern.
