  • Yes I think its crazy, especially since most of them have no skill.
  • I think we do just naturally look for others to worship. But I do find it very strange that we make celebrities out of actors and models and musicians etc. It's just a job they've chosen to do. I mean can you imagine what it would be like if people started idolizing plumbers or librarians? They've just picked a job they like or have a bit of skill in, and it pays the bills, same as anyone else. Very strange.
  • Personally, I could care less. Most celebrities today have absolutely no talent and only achieve their fame through large sums of money passed down from their predecessors and/or have pretty faces. Examples: Colin Ferrel and Lindsay Lohan. These actors have little to no acting talent whatsoever (at least none that I can see) and I'm sure the only reason they're famous is because they look good. Now on the other hand, older actors like Marlon Brando, Anthony Hopkins, and Sean Connery I do like very much. These guys actually have talent.
  • Yes I find it strange too, but this is how "most" human minds work. We adore them because they actually do or are what we want to be, rich, famous, pretty, outrageous and so forth.

  • I do find it absurd and I have no idea why people do this. I am not subject to this madness. I guess its OK to have false gods
  • "We" don't (although I understand your premise). I think a lot of air-head lemmings do because of the peer pressure of their fellow air-head lemmings. Remeber the story of the "Emperor's New Clothes"?
