Why don't some people go on a trip to have fun with their family, despite their finances, which at times can be an excuse?

They don't want to. People give excuses when they don't want to say the truth.

Because they are tied to their work, and are afraid of losing their job if they go holidys. If you are self-employed it's even harder, no work, no pay.

when you have your own business, it a little harder! if you go on a trip, you wont have an income coming in sometimes makes it alittle harder.
