I can't find my microsoft product keys to activate some software that was installed on my computer when I bought it, such as, Microsoft power point 2007, I would like to know how I can access my software.

Sometimes they put stickers on the side of your tower with this info on it.

go to start then search and look in c:/ drive type in unattend.txt once it has found the hidden file read the notebook file there is your product key...

you can also if you have it put your os disk in the c/d rom and do a search on it for the unatted.txt file it will bring up the windows product key there as well

When the dark side had me, I used serials 2000 a lot. Since about a decade ago, I've seen the light. Once I became a Linux user I've never had this type of licensing problem... Heh, that makes me sound like a preacher evangelizing my religion/OS.
