Considering my personality and my favorite books, do you think I would like Oscar Wilde?

    From what I know of you I think you probably would. "The Picture of Dorian Grey" (novel) is probably his best work but you might prefer his comic plays - "The Importance of Being Earnest" is a good one- a lot of the most well-known "Wilde-isms" are taken from that play, including "To lose one parent might be considered a misfortune, to lose two looks like carelessness."

    I'd also like to reccomend the film "Wilde" (starring Stephen Fry) about his life as well worth watching.

    That's a difficult take.

    The intellectual side of you would enjoy the depth of Wilde's writing.

    If you have some bohemian traits (none were blatant in your profile other than your avatar) you would be touched by his vulnerable personna.

    You appear very intellectual and have some impressive interests. Still Mr. Oscar might be a toss up. I'm with "lady fushia" in recommending "The Picture of Dorian Grey" as a trial work to read, very enjoyable for the general reader.
