No, that's why I'm currently building an extension.
-
NO! my house is very small and we are 4 here!
-
probably, we have two rooms we barely use
-
It would be possible, but we just finished building this home this small and are very happy with it. But we have thought how wonderful it would be to live in just a tiny home, maybe 4-500 sq feet or smaller, maybe a treehouse would suit us well. But we do love our big kitchen and we have a grand piano in the family that we aren't ready to downsize that much for. It's a tight squeeze for us as it is lol!
-
Yeah, but the other family members wouldn't be happy about it
-
Sure, less to keep clean.
-
We lived in a home of 400 sq.ft. and now we stay in 800 and it feels like a palace!
-
I am looking for a smaller house, about half the 2500 sq ft that I have now. Much too big for just me.
-
It would be very difficult for me to get accustomed to that. My basement is more than half filled with items. My bedroom leaves little space now, unless I get a bed half the size of my current bed. My kitchen isn't very big. I would be willing to sacrifice my den and dining room.
-
As long as I still had the same view, yes.
-
Heck no...have little space as it is.
-
I live in a very small 3 bedroom apartment with my husband and two children. If we had less space, we wouldn't be able to live here at all.
-
I could be, if my husband wasn't such a pack rat. If we had a house half the size we have now either I would have to go or his stuff would. There would be no room for the both. This is not a joke. The man saves everything in case he needs it later. I must truly love him.

Can you cut a shoebox in 1/2?!?!? There are 5 of us living in a 1200 sq ft house and somedays it feels like a shoebox. Content, no, but we would manage.
-
I think 450 sq. ft. would be a bit tight for a family of three, don't you? We never did move up to a big house when the economy was booming. Even if we could have done it, the economy always swings the other way sooner or later.
-
I reduced my living space by half about 5 years ago and really don't think I could go any smaller. Unless I became a nudist. And trust me, none of us wants that to happen.
-
As it is, our current home is already small. My answer is no.
-
Yup. I don't need much... but it's building equity (knock on wood). :)
