There is a lady 100 years old live in the next bungalow to me. I do not know her as we only bought this recently and have been having work done I do know an old gentleman of 93 he cycles to work every day ( his own bookbinding business)He is really funny and interesting to talk to. Oh I forgot my great aunt has an Aunt who was 109 she had 10 telegrams from the Queen and was still totally mentally competant

That would be a tie between two of my neighbors when I was a kid. They both died in their late 90's. The oldest person i know still alive is my husband's grandmother. She is 86.

I had an old man friend who was 99 when I met him and 103 when he died.

My great-grandma Frank on my mum's side. She chain smoked, drank like a fish, and still lived to 102 before she just went to sleep and never woke up, and she was talking and functional to the very end.

My Great Auntie Evelyn (my dad's auntie) died last year at the grand old age of 102. She was a fantastic lady, lived through two world wars and upheld her independence up until the day she died.

my great grandma.. she lived through a civil war, famine, dictatorship and raised two kids all by herself. 99 years old.

As a young boy, an old black man lived behind us who was estimated to have been 105+, His records were not complete because he was born during the last years of slavery. Lived the last years of his life on his own, drinking home made "wine" and eating dandylion greens out of the yard. Went to sleep reading the bible and never woke up. Thats my plan.

the oldest man in the UK lives in my hometown - he's 111!! Mr Henry Allingham - absolute superstar, goes to all the reunions in France and is always attending functions in veterans' honour... marvellous man :) You'll find him on Google. and Sala, the oldest man in Morocco who showed us round Tangier... he was ancient!

I met a resident at the retirement community where my mom is a nurser and he was 102 years old. He had been married to his wife for 70+ years and she died at 94. He died 6 months later.
