I have a Sony PS2. My son pulled the cale and it fell off the unit. Now it wont play PS2 games or DVD's but it still plays PS1 games and CD's. What can I do....

My PS2 slim will only play one disc, but not any others, any idea why? I have already cleaned the lenses.

I just bought Dynasty Warriors 6 for my ps2 and i put it in it doesn't read. yet all my other games work. how can i fix it?

Sometimes when i try to play a game, it'll take me to the browser screen and i have to wait a few seconds for it to start reading the disc. usually if it's already reading the disc by this time, it says "reading disc" and then it stops and then repeats.

You're reading Ive had my ps2 about 4years, its a fat1, action replay max use to work on it but now it reads and loads the AR max disk and i can look at all the codes but once i put a disk in it says launching game with codes and goes to a black screen. any suggestions?

Give it a chance Mr Biggles.. someone may know how to help you but may not be on at this time.. check back .. and ignore the people who would rather be rude than keep their insulting comments to themselves. Trust me.. I've seen whats casting out such judgement .. there is no room for them to be so hateful to others..

DementedPix I don't see a correlation between atheism and Ps2 posts. It's all written in good spirit, just to have a little fun. And as I have said in other posts, asking help about hardware is pretty much the same as asking help on medical or legal issues on Answerbag. Not even a professional can give sound advice if he doesn't make a hands on diagnosis.
