Always...that and "Wet Paint". However, I've stopped touching women when they say don't touch. They usually mean it:)

I would probably pick at icing on a cake and ignore a "Don't Touch" sign under the cake.

If it was safe, I would. Better would be to wait around for someone else to do it and see what happens.

Wasn't there a story in the Bible about someone getting in trouble; no way that caused trouble for eternity.

If its some kind of wood chipper, there is a good chance that I will not touch it. Same goes for anything with a blade or is hot or has got a lot of teeth and has the mother of all attitudes.

It sort of depends on the look in her eyes when she says it. I understand that "'no' means no", but sometimes "'don't' means not just yet".

This is a rule we go by and even use. We make items that take a lot of time and the cost can show from it. Since we are at museums / Guilds / Art Shows we see this used by a lot of other artist. Sorry but if it says not to touch...then we don't.

I'm the type that never would do that . . . then my friend and I went to the Titantic exhibit a few years ago and they had a huge piece of the hull of the ship. The sign said "Do Not Touch." My girlfriend touched it and in a moment of weakness, so did I.

No. Like in a shop, if you break it, you pay it. I look with my eyes. Do not need the feel of it. Especially if there are accompanying danger signs, I would stay clear to make sure not to touch by accident.

If I saw a cardboard box with the sign "Don't touch" on it...I would now only have to touch it but I would want to look inside to see what was in there.
