  • I wouldn't go so far as to suggest that people who disagree with you are evil or do evil deeds. So, no, I do not think that this particular Bible verse applies.
  • Darkness can not comprehend the light...But we were all there at one point in time, so it really doesn't bother me. I know Paul says he was the chief sinner,I'm sure I was in the running...BUT GOD, right! that's all any of us can say "But God (changed everything!)"
  • Great take on this past "Election"!!! John
  • No it's not apparent at all. What you don't realize is without dark, no light can be seen.
  • I think it illustrates the thought of your desert religion very well. In the cult of Yahweh, mankind is evil, fallen a dark and nasty type of creature who chooses to love his evil side. Funny that Yahweh made such a negative world and humans. If I were to choose a god to follow, I think I'd prefer one who thought his creation good, kind and loving. There would be a lot less killing and nastiness in the world if we had a better god to follow. Boo to the desert god I say.
  • So most of the people on Answerbag are evil. Is that what you're saying?
  • People are like water; they will naturally take the path of least resistance. To come out of the darkness means you have to change and see your shortcomings. Even though this can be a time of tremendous personal growth, fear of the unknown often holds us back. Don't be too harsh a critic of humanity. It is encoded in our DNA to be afraid and/or cautious of new things that are also painful.
