I was an airline pilot for the last eight years at a national airline. My extremely profitable airline suddenly closed, and it appears as though I have not only lost my job, but possibly my career. The economy combined with the age 65 rule (no retirement for the next four years) have turned things upside down! Back to school I go with the intent of CNA, LPN, then RN. Finally, a specialty such as anesthetist, clinician, or practitioner are my current long term goals. I need to know I'm going to have a job!
