Do you ever feel like you can give out advise, but have a hard time solving your own issues? Why is that?

Its a lot easier to give advise than to take it. Also solving your own issues means changing things in your life, people always find that difficult.

yes. When you are in a situation, it is very difficult to analyze it objectively. Emotions are often involved, which can be particularly blinding. When you are on the outside of a situation that does not affect you personally, it is much easier to see all the different aspects of it, including the other person's side of it (if there is one). You can be objective and clear headed and you don't have to personally take action on any of your suggestions. That makes it a whole lot easier.

Yea, no kidding! If only we could take our own advice...but I do think its fairly normal. Its easy to look at another situation and give logical advice, but I guess we are sometimes blinded in seeing things we only want to see when dealing with our own issues!
