I live in a house built around 1730, I think that the electrics also date back to that time. Gradually getting round to it bit by bit but its costing £xxxx's! So if someone came round wanting to do a spot of work for free I would have suprisingly few issues.

Yes, if their car broke down and stranded them and needed to borrow my phone. But since I currently live with my parents, I wouldn't let them do anything to the house.

I sure would. After 10 years only, alot of things need fixing, and I could use new carpet, and many other things I can't afford.
