People who hate everything America stands for, or at least stood for, are very popular now (Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Obama, B. Frank, M. Moore, et. al.) In years past people of this ilk would have been ridiculed for their America hating. What changed?

Hating? That's a strong word. If you saw your wife trying to use the wrong tool for the job when the right one is sitting beside her, would ya hate her? As an outsider looking in, I'd say that the President of the last 8 years had been trying to use a hammer to screw in a lightbulb. Someone ( the electorate) noticed that doesn't work and changed tactics to get the job done.

I must respectfully disagree. Congress has a lower approval rating than President Bush has ever had. President elect Obama won because he was the lesser of two evils. (IMHO) Nobody with half a brain cell left takes B. Frank, M. Moore or any of that crowd seriously any more. The entire government has allowed our Constitution to be trampled under foot. We have lost precious freedoms, that better men gave their lives for, to the charade of "Homeland Security". (Write your own joke here.) We have seen is water boarding torture?, what can I get away with?, who can I make the scapegoat and fire for this?, can we make it appear to be legal?, can I make more money for my friends and relatives at the expense of the taxpayers? etc, etc, etc... Enough is enough! I love this country every bit as much as any man ever has. Much more than most. If I criticize America it is not because I hate her. It is because I love her and I KNOW she can be better.
