Not at all. I'm far more ethical than I am competitive to the point of being stupid
-
I would not compromise ethics at all, I like competition, and I like winning but I will not compromise ethics to ensure a win.
-
I don't think you can and actually win fairly. I'd look for loopholes to stay within the rules but failing that still stay within them. I'll give an example. My Dad used to run stock car and demo derby's. He used to fill the tires with water in some of those derby's, until his advantage was found out and the rules were changed. He did stay within the rules at all times. He also won a lot being very creative.

I would never compromise ethics to ensure i won a competition.
-
Never. if i could not win honestly, i would not participate at all.
-
Well now a competition is not really a competition if you have to cheat to win. A competition tests your limits and abilities. You are not being true to yourself if you have to bend your own rules in order to feel like a winner. Staying true to the yourself is the only way to stay on top whether you actually win that competition or not.
-
Not at all... unless there was a greater ethical dilemma. If I had to cheat to save someone's life I would try my best to do so for the greater good.
-
I wouldn't compromise them at all. I'm not interested in a false win at anything. There would be no satisfaction in knowing I cheated.
-
I hate to recycle answers, but I am going to say the same thing I did on the Would you cheat to win a contest? question. You do not win when you cheat, you have just proven that you are a good cheater. Not worth much in my book. Same thing applies in terms of compromising ethics. Plus, as they say, it all comes out in the wash. People who cheat or compromise ethics think that they are pretty clever--little do they know they are also not fooling anyone but themselves.
-
If competition is won by not compromosing the ethics then the joy of winning lasts forever, otherwise it will decay.
-
I would not. Either my entry is judged on its merits and wins, or it loses, and I have lost nothing, especially my integrity.
