fat is 1 syllable, while overweight is 4. So i say fatass.
-
When talking about myself, I use the term fat. In other instances I use overweight. There is no need to be disrespectful of others feelings.
-
With myself fat, when I'm referring to other people Overweight.
-
i always say fat.much easier to say.
-

-
I am FAT, You are WELL-FED.

"Overweight" or, more likely, nothing at all. I normally don't feel the need to comment one way or the other. For the most part, I use "fat" only as a noun. The only time I use it as an adjective is when referring to a baby. I guess that's kind of weird, but it just fits for me. An infant (typically) is not overweight; they're just a fat little baby! (the best kind, imo)
-
Overweight.
-
For men I use "heavy set" and for women I tend to use "thick".
-
None of them. Slightly obese is more polite.
-
I use the word fluffy.
-
I am a plus size woman, and obviously I tend to say "plus size." I also might use words like "big," "large," "statuesque," "queen or king size," etc. I don't see anything wrong with "fat," though. I just don't like to see "fat-and-ugly" like it's all one word. I've seen some attractive fat people, and some butt ugly skinny people. "Overweight" suggests that there is a weight I'm over, and whose decision is that? And "heavy set" is what people say when they're trying not to say "fat," which isn't a dirty word.
-
Well, I call people fat who I see riding around shopping centres in the disability mobiles who you know they can walk because they leave the mini car outside mcdonalds whilst they get up and que up for one. What I say to my friends when they ask "do you think im overweight" I reply "your only overweight if you one day get into the bath tub and find your stuck" to me that would be overweight. Or if you go technical, overweight is when your BMI is over 25.
-
Sure I do, they aren't bad words, but they can be used in a bad way, I hope I don't ever use them in a way that hurts somebody.
-
"fat" when referring to myself. "chunky monkey" when referring to my toddler.

Fat is a subjective term. It means something different to everyone and so means nothing. Why talk nonsense?
