  • Um ... I don't think so, but how would I know? Is being a gun owner "polarizing?"
  • Unfortunately, I'm afraid there are a few, but the main one is... POLITICS! There will never be an American President lefty enough to satisfy me. ;)
  • Interesting question - but I suspect most people wouldn't think of themselves as polarized thinkers. I've always been a very passionate Marxist, but in my country it perhaps doesn't signify in quite the same way as in the U.S... I still think, on balance, that Marx was right and that capitalism is doomed, despite evidence to the contrary!
  • yes...personal responsibility
  • Yeah. God is! Satan is! Choose your direction with care!
  • I can only think of one area in which I have an extreme position and that is smoking. I am very, very anti-smoking. I have seen it's effects kill my mother and grandfather. My great uncle lost his throat to smoking. I have seen many other people have lifelong health problems as well. Children see adults smoke and think that it is acceptable or cool. I know my position is extreme, but it is how I feel.
  • I would have to say ignorance. Theres no excuse to be so blindingly ignorant you cant even accept the world around you as it is.
  • I think i'm pretty middle of the road with most issues.
  • Yes, when it comes to child abuse. I've no sympathy for abusers, regardless of what their own childhood was like. Though I havent lived their childhood, I refuse to believe it offers any excuse.
