Yes. With bombs, with weapons, with close-mindedness, and eventually atomic bombs and war. At the basis though, ignorance will be the cause. ARROGANCE is certainly up there.

I doubt it. We've tried and most likely will continue to try, but I don't think we have that much determination to do anything on this large of a scale. I'm sure we'll continue to hurt each other as much as we can, and for the same ridiculous reasons we have always had, but I highly doubt we'll ever get to annihilation. Doomsday prophecies and predictions have ALWAYS proven to be much ado about nothing. They've been around as long as mankind has, and they most likely will be with us for quite some time to come.

Sadly, I think its already evident that mankind is well on its way down the path to self destruction. With the current conflicts throughout the world and the devestating effects from Global Warming (which are only going to accelerate every day) I think its too late to do much good. The people of earth today are experiencing the world at its best - we still have a beautiful planet to enjoy and all the modern conveniences of technoligy - sadly it all comes at a great expense to our future generations.
