If you ever work a Holiday, what is the rate of pay you receive?

I have a part time job at a school for which I receive holiday pay during student holidays. I am leaving in September. If I do not tell them I am leaving until two weeks before I leave (and get paid through the summer hols) can they get the money back?

I worked on xmas day and new years day. is holiday pay at the employers discretion or is it a state law that holiday pay be offered?

I just got my paycheck and I see that they paid me 16 hrs Holiday pay instead of 8 hrs. which I worked. Holiday pay is double regulare wage. What would you do in my situation?
