This is too general of a statement. There is no blanket personality of a black guy. So, of course, it will depend on what stereotypes this particular black guy does or does not hold, and how much he cares for his girlfriend/wife.

I have been in 3 relationships with the other being a black man. One of the relationships being on and off for 4 years. They have all treated there own race better than they ever treated me. I believe that it was and is only for show... They treated their women like Queens and us white folk like trailer trash... in my opinion.

My sister had a couple black boyfriends.They both treated her like shit.So i treated them like a redheaded step-child.Yes that means i whipped their asses.My s/o is black and she has told me a few times that a large percentage of black men treat their women with disrespect.The main reason being that thats what they saw when growing up,if the father was around at all.

It is true that SOME men treat their significant others differently because of their race, but NO, it is not true that ALL black men act that way. I would dare say that for the vast majority race has no bearing whatsoever on how they treat women. That is way too broad a statement so I have to say no, absolutely not.

Color isn't the main factor here, it's how he looks at women in general. A lot of it has to do with upbringing. It wouldn't matter if his s/o was black or white, red, oriental.

No. It's not the color, it's the upbringing. There are some men that just realize that a woman should be respected no matter what, the problem is no one cares about the good guys, only the bad guys and what they do. It makes us feel better when we can judge because we somehow think we are right like we have it all figured out. Of course it "seems" like most black men do it because that's what people talk about and what you see in the media. Of course it "seems" all pregnant teens are absolute idiots, but there are some that know what they are doing. Of course it "seems" all politicians are dirty, but some really do what they can.

The reason I've notice is belief, a person of a different race thinks that this is so much different from what they're used to. I don't think that in a relationship you're treated any worst based on color, if the person is bad then he is just bad.
