    I take photos and I save things like brochures and maps, ticket stubs, some postcards and whatever I find like leaves, rocks, shells, bark from the natural surroundings. We feel these things help to bring back many of our best memories.

    I went on a 22 day tour of Europe years ago and collected a free brochure from every hotel. I no longer have them.

    I sometimes wish I could go back and start a new collection of something that is free at every hotel. For example, soap, sugar, matches.
