I would have to say it's probably your battery. That twenty minutes gives your battery time to rejuice. However, If your battery is going bad, it may be taking longer and getting harder to regain that charge. The best way to check is to take it to an advanced auto or other parts store and have them check the life on it.

If you raise the hood, do you smell gas? 20 min is about how long it might take for flooding to diminish.

is that a question or a statement? i would say it is likely flooding or the charging system i.e. battery or alternater. drop by autozone or advanced autoparts they will test the alternator or battery for free and without removing it from you car.
