A stocker at a grocery store. That lasted all of 4 months. Because I was A. The new girl and B. A stocker--all the jobs no one else wanted to do got passed on to me. I got so tired of pulling everyone else's weight. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind doing my job, and doing it very well. I'll put all the effort in the world into MY job. It's when you are told to do someone else's job so they can go text message their boyfriend/girlfriend or go take an extra cigarette break that it gets annoying.

I worked at an indoor childrens play centre, doing parties. The kids weren't so bad, it was the snobby rich parents who hassled you to within an inch of your life because they wanted their "little angels" party to be perfect, even though the kids were too busy running around and having a great time minus the perfectly arranged cocktail frankfurts.
I was a waitress at a large restaurant at the age of 16 - And that's where I bagan to learn about the demand's of people
Harris Teeter, I worked as a 3rd shift stocker, and I got swimmers ear the week before, so it was pretty bad to have that pain, plus it was hard to get use to seeing my family having breakfast when I was having dinner and about to go to bed.

I loved it, met lots of stars, partied and hated to go back to school when summer was over :(

Oddly enough I accidently set the place on fire. I had never seen an eddie match before so had no idea they self ignite, I was flicking it nervously beneath my nail while the boss showed me how to work the register. It went off on me, I screamed and shook my hand until it flew out from under my nail, but it landed in the tissue paper for gift wrapping. I delivered newspapers at 14. The delivery was fine but the collecting of the funds was a nightmare.
Before graduation, it was just stuff like mowing lawns and such. When I got out of school at 18, it was the early 80's and the recession was so bad that nearly no one was hiring, not even fast-food chains. (Not an exaggeration.) So I didn't get a "real" job until I was 20, finally getting on at McDonald's. Technically, however, I wasn't a teenager anymore.
