  • You got it because the amount of memory changed. Just go into setup, confirm the amount of RAM it has is what it should be, save and exit.
  • First off, I'd check to see if the ram you have is actually compatible. Dell's are picky. If they are, I'd try a boot without going to set up. There are settings in there you don't want to accidentally change. If the pc boots and sees the ram, you're good to go with no risk. If there's still issues and the ram is good, only then would I venture into setup and make careful note of all the memory settings before making any changes.
