If you need to cover the vents. try covering them in a fine gauze or muslin so the bugs can't get in, but the air still circulates.
You can try some of those plug-in things that emit a high pitched sound. *shrugs* I was told they're supposed to drive bugs away. You can probably find them at your local hardware store or wal-mart
Install a heater/AC
...a fan maybe?
We keep getting spiders in our apt. Tonight we had a gigantic one. What type of poison can I use to kill them without harming my cats?

I have no problems with small spiders on webs. It\'s the brown ones that scuttle around the basement floor that really get me.

Anyone have a idea on how to get rid of spiders, out of a house? And before anyone comes up with the funny/hot answer. I have no plans on burning the house down.....LOL.

You're reading I have these old vents in my room and heaps of spiders and bugs were coming through so I covered them up but now my room gets damp and moldy. What should I do now?
