i honestly think he will retire after this year, but it wil be last minutes decision during the summer.

He shouldn't and wont. He makes stupid mistakes, but always has, and he is still a huge leader on the field. He has another good year or two left in him.
-
I talked with his aunt and she said she thinks he will retire. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

I don't know if Favre played his last game; however, I think he should retire when he wants to. He's contributed enough to the game to have that right, and I will be glad to watch him play until he makes that decision. I will be sad to see him go when he does.

I think he did play his last game. Should he retire? Only if his body, (or family), is telling him to. He is STILL better than 75% of the QB's out there.

As some of you have said, I respect his right to make that decision whenever he chooses, he has served the team so well over the last 15 years or so. However, I feel he has far LESS reason to retire now than he did when making his decision at the end of last season. Back then, Green Bay were a poor side, waiting on the appointment of a new coach, and he wasn't performing too well; he had every reason to say "now is a good time to jump ship". Now the side has made some big leaps forward, he has much better protection from his offensive line, a defence that doesn't undo all his good work by playing like a bunch of drains, and a head coach who seems to know what he is doing... I don't see the sense in him taking a risk on playing this season if he didn't have it in mind to carry on into 2007 once the blocks were in place. When you throw in the fact that he is so close to breaking Dan Marino's touchdown record too, I think that everything points towards him staying on. I think he is waiting on the results of his ankle operation and if he seems healthy enough, he will be back. It is only the fact that he was in tears on the field after the Bears game and posing for commemorative photographs that puts any doubt in my mind... so I wouldn't want to risk trying to second guess him. I hope he is back though, I think with him Green Bay could be a 10-6 team next year, without him they will be nearer 6-10.

I hope it was not Brett Favre's last game. You know, he's 143 years old, and he's still not doing too bad. He needs just a little help on the team, and they could make the playoffs next year (especially if the NFC is as bad as it was this year).
-
I do think he played his last game, but I don't think he needs to retire just yet. If the the Packers put a decent team around him, I think he could really excel again.
-
He did not play his last game and he wont retire he's not the problem the problem is that the packers have 75% rookies
-
I hope Farve is coming back. He is still competing at a high level. He looked great in that last game against the Bears. And he almost got the Packers into the Playoffs. I hope to see him next year in the green and yellow!
