I've been here since early September, and I may have clicked one ad since being here. I'm very interested in whether anyone else has. Please post an answer. [Shamless question plugging - I do not care whether this question is rated, I'm just looking for as many answers as I can get.]

Hi ODZ: The ads on the sites have to do with the subject matter of the question. If I am already supplying an answer to the questions, chances are great I don;t need to go to someones web site and read up on the topic. So, no, I have not yet clicked on any of them.

I think I clicked on one when they first started showing up. I don't even seem to notice them anymore so no, I do not check out the ads.

No, because I can't see them. They're not on ANY computer I've been on in my city, whether it be my house, my work, my friends or my library. Go figure!

I am going to say that I have, because if it ever gets out that none of the users on the site use any of the advertising links then the owners will find it a lot harder to sell advertising space which I'm guessing funds most of the site's upkeep. So yes, I click and them all and buy from everyone! ;)

I accidentally clicked on one for the first time today. It was an ad for inflateable toys. I was mortified.But I laughed my butt off.It was by accident.But other than that,I don't click on them. :)

The ads are like said earlier, "the bread and butter". How can you justify not helping out when you are here? now I don't run around clicking ads just because but if something catches my eye, maybe it's worth a look. What do I care if the powers that be make 2 cents, maybe I'll find something on the net that interests me. Maybe you will too.

Yes, I have. I was looking at questions that may pertain to a problem I was having w/my CD-ROM. I really didn't find anything, but clicked on the ad that directed me to a site that had Q&E about my problem & other tech Q&E. I saved that site. It has helped.
