I ran into a little trouble wheelin' my way through Texas as well . . . I had pulled over to rest my arms when this fella in a Cadallac stopped to see if I needed help. I told him I was restin' my arms as it was a long way from NC and I had a way to go to LA yet. He was a kind fella and offered to tow me the rest of the way since he was on a business trip to the area. He said hold on, we'll make good time then gave me a whistle and said to use it if I needed anything. We were makin' good time cruzin' along; I was watching the trees go past and enjoying the wind humming through the spokes of the chair when this guy in an Italian sports car (thanks to my friend Arisztid for the idea) pulls along side and starts taunting the driver of the Caddy. I realized they were racing when the trees I was watching pass by became a blur and the hum of the wind though the spokes of the chair became a scream . . . Well, we passed a Texas Trooper hid on the side of the road who glanced up from his paper work about the time we went by. He immediately turned on his lights and siren . . . then drove back to headquarters . . . He walks into the Capitan's office and places his cuffs on the desk, followed by his sidearm and his badge. "I resign!" he says. "What's the trouble?" asks the Capitan. "I just clocked a Cadallac an Italian sports car racing at over 100mph!" "But that's not so unusual." replied the Capitan. "No, but there was an old hippie in a wheelchair behind them waving his arms and blowin' a whistle, trying to pass them both!" Well, that's when they sent the rest of the troopers out after me . . . (An oldie modified for my favorite Officer!)

So your the officer who tried to nab me on my birthday, congratulations, keep up the pursuit!
