  • I just had my fourth baby about 2 months ago. First baby - used some Demoral to calm my nerves and for pain (but not during transitional labor) and it was a very easy delivery. He weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz. I honestly said right after the birth, "Wow, that wasn't bad, I could do that again". Second baby - no medication, very fast delivery, and it was very painful BUT....easy baby and easy to nurse and very, very fast recovery. She was 8 lbs. 4 oz. Third baby - no medication, fast delivery with hardly no pain (dead serious!) and it felt like a big dump! She weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. Fourth baby - no medication and very painful, but no tearing or anything. She is now just over 2 months old. But she was a difficult birth because I was out of shape and started out 80 lbs. overweight. But she still came fast and healthy at 9 lbs. 4 oz.
  • I'm a man and I never want children. I don't want to see my future wife in that situation, going through the pain.
  • PAIN that is unexplainable - DRUGS are the only way to deal with it. I only have one because I am in no way going to get hit by that bus ever again!
  • It was rough, I won't kid you. From the time my water broke until my first was born was like 36 hours. They had to put me on Pitocin which helps induce and promote labor. It also makes contractions more painful (as if they weren't painful enough...I had an epidural and went from begging the doctors to do a C-section, to being able to play Gin with my husband. Being the overly competitive person that I am, I proudly pronounced to the doctor that I had beat him six out of seven games. A few years later, he told me he let me win....the little stinker!
  • I`ve had 3 babies and it felt different everytime.Although,if your talking about the actual moment of birth,it feels like a tremendous pressure on your bottom half, where you have to try really hard to stop pushing when you`re told to(this is almost impossible)and the head is the painful part, though not unbearable. After this, the body just sort of slides out and you feel relief...and happiness.
  • I've had 3 children. It is the absolute worst pain in the world but it ends with the best gift ever.
