What comes to your mind when you see someone with dark circles or bags under their eyes?

I always think they've been up all night ... they must be exhausted.

If they're new parents then the kid isn't sleeping through the night yet! If they don't have kids then they're burning the candle at both ends and it will catch up with them one day! :)

sympathy. I've had to cover dark circles since I was old enough to pay attention. Having really fair skin and veins close to the surface is a curse.

Oh, man. I remember when I had to pull 24 hour shifts! Not cool.

lack of sleep, or stress. Unfortunately I was born with bags under my eyes so when I don't get enough sleep, oh the horror!! 8-)

I usually think, "I really need to clean this mirror....maybe when I get home from work."

They're insomniacs (like me!!!) or did not get enough rest the night before

I think they look as tired as I feel (and probably look). ;)
