  • I was just about to answer that question, and Reagan would have been my answer. I'm not sure what he did that was so great, for me, he was the lesser of the evils as the saying goes.
  • Stones, he had em. He stood up for Amercian values. He did not have interns giving him hummers in the Oval Office. He took over an economy far worse than todays, cut the top tax rate by more than 50% and got hammered by the liberals that the government could not live without that revenue. Behold, the revenue to the government doubled due to the increase in business activity. He was a great leader, a wise man. He steadfastly stood against the evil Soviet Union and through strength, as opposed to Carter's spineless weakness, brought the Soviet Union to an end. His strength led to the unification of Germany. He belongs on Mount Rushmore.
  • I did not find him to be the best president. He was mediocre if anything and did not accomplish allot when he was in power.
  • He was very good at pithy one-liners..however, he often confused movie script dialogue with real-life events..whether that was on purpose so he would seem to be a better speaker than he actually was..or inadvertently when he "remembered" things that actually only happened on the movie screen I don't know for sure. He was affable, comfy and I think an okey-dokey kinda guy. But "best" in my life? No. :)
  • In Short... President Reagan was the best president of our time, he accomplished in bringing the American people together very much like what Obama just accomplished. Got us out of a recession, lowered the tax rate, opened the markets, defeated the Soviet union with out firing a shot, rebuilt and motivated our military, stood his ground towards our enemies. best of all brought a sense of pride back to America.
