In your opinion; what is the difference between conservatives and liberals, can you define each in your own words with no cutting and pasting?

Conservatives are usually republican..and liberals are usually democrats:)

Traditionally liberals are generally for a huge government who they think can save the people with a price to pay. They also have been known to be more pro war. Conservatives were once known for wanting low taxes and small govermnent who works FOR the people. They also wanted america to have a humble foreign policy and not going abroad for unecessary wars. BUT, today.. things have changed. They both evolved into pretty much the same thing.

Each one is literally speaking,very subjective and everyone is both at different times depending on their point of view.To label one as one or the other serves only to divide a nation,and accomplishes nothing at all.

Hey Cowboys.... Liberals are only concerned with the rights of the individual with no concern for how their policies affect society...i.e. abortion, un-traditional family rights, wealth redistribution. etc.. Conservatives are more concerned with how things will affect society as a whole. Ie.. Gay marriage,, we don't approve, not because we hate gay people, we just don't think it is good for society..the good of the whole is more important than the wants of the one....another analogy... "give a man a fish and he eats for a day..Teach a man to fish and he eats for life.." Liberals want to give you the fish, conservatives want to teach you to fish......
