Among the Rich and Famous, Lawyers and Politicians, Surgeons and Mega-Preachers. Otherwise, not so much.....

They can still be worn with a Tux or any nice suit for a formal occasion.

I think cufflinks are a dynamite accessory to jazz up a man's attire. A few months ago, I was window shopping and saw some truly amazing ones in a storefront. I would imagine that only men in certain occupations like maybe a banker or some other type of high end executive would wear them. Buttons seem to have replaced them for the most part in the USA.

I like-em... and I am neither rich or famous. I only wear cufflinks on formal occasions though. :)
-
I hope so. I'd hate to think I have them to collect dust.
-
I think they are regaining popularity. I bought my friend a pair for Christmas, so I hope so.
-
yes they are.

Actually, cufflinks have made quite a comeback lately. This is because French cuffs have also made a stylish return, and not just in formalwear, where they were mostly found before. I have a couple sets I bought just this year and none of them are very "dressy" looking. But they sure look cool!
-
Yes. They're a stylish finishing touch.
-
Yes and women wear them too!
-
Gosh - I hope so as I wear them nearly every day - and, contrary to Mirage RF's answer, I'm neither rich, famous, a lawyer, politician, surgeon nor preacher. I just think they are smart attire when worn with a business shirt and suit.
-
They are still elegant piece of items on men's shirting.

In today's society ANYTHING goes. Anything.
-
Who cares if they are in style? Do you like them? Wear them.
-
Cufflinks are coming back into style in a big way. They are a simple accessory that can be as personal as you want them. They always look sharp. The only problem is that you have to have the right style of cuffs to wear them.
