  • Just keep on losing weight. The breasts are mostly fat. They'll start to go eventually. I understand that fat can be a source of estrogen, even in men, and can contribute to some feminization. So as you lose the fat and the accompanying estrogen, the breasts should shrink. The pec exercises already mentioned will do a lot to improve the appearance too.
  • There are two possibilities here. The first is that it is just fat, and you need to keep trying to loose fat until they are gone. If you have been really large, you may have loose skin, and the only way to eliminate the loose skin is through surgery. If this is the case, you will really sag in your waist. Another possibility, though less likely, is gynocomastia. A certain percentage of men do develop breast tissue, and since fat does in fact produce estrogen, lots of fat cause a lot of estrogen, so it could increase the possibility of gynocomastia. But the only way to know that is to either keep loosing fat, and see if they go away, or see a doctor. As long as you still have some fat, I would not be too worried. If you get lean, and still have them, see a doctor. (It is harmless though.) * Update for Anonymous: It is in my response above, but to simplify, lose fat first. If the rest of the body is lean and they are still there then the only choice is surgery.
  • I can quote the following exercises to flatten male breasts. 1. While walking on a treadmill, or while doing funny aerobics in the privacy of your bedroom, swing your arms (bent at the elbows) in front of your chest for at least twenty minutes a day (ideally 40 mins). You will look silly doing it in a park. Why while walking or aerobics, because its more effective when the body is warm. You will not get bored doing this exercise while watching TV. You may also want to squeeze your pectoral muscles with each swing for short durations in between. Make sure your left and right arms overlap one another turn by turn (if the left is above, next right should be above). 2. There is an exercise bike available in which you “push” rowing bars with your hands as well. Do it with “very light” tension easy 40 minutes a day and your boobs are sure to go away within a month, or depending on amount of fat. Make sure the push handles are not too above your shoulders or not too below your chest. Push ups or bench press wont do the fat any good. Tried and failed. The techniques mentioned above, tried and tested! You will start noticing a difference within 3 days. Just keep at it. Regularity is the key. Dont put off exercise unless a matter of life and death, or of one million dollars :)
