  • Each school has its own admittance requirements, but generally the religion of the family isn't one of them. Your child can learn about religion by attending vacation Bible school, also. My oldest son went to a catholic school for one year, and he didn't learn much religion.

  • Generally, religious schools only practice their religion along with the education, and do not require that you follow it, only that you, at least, tolerate it. This isn't always true though; my parents sent me to a Christian school once, and they only let Protestants in, and occasionally Catholics (and even then they try to discourage you). Religious schools can act however they want to about that, but I would be surprised if they discriminated.
  • Wouldn't it be better to enroll him in a religious study course rather than submerge him entirely into a school. Seems it limits his choices. Were you harmed any by not having to go to a religious school?
