Yes. Here's proof and an article from http://www.virtualfestivals.com/festivals/article.cfm?articleid=2960 Panic! Singer Knocked Out At Reading 25 August 2006 Panic! At The Disco singer Brendon Urie has been knocked out by a bottle thrown from the crowd during the band's set on the opening day of Reading Festival. He's recovered though - and the show HAS gone on... It appears certain elements of the Reading Festival crowd have failed to heed the warnings from organisers to stay on the right side of the law. It's taken only three and a half sets for Reading's rioting contingent to claim its first victim - Panic! At The Disco singer Brendon Urie. Seconds into the band's early afternoon set, a bottle was hurled from the crowd which connected with the singer's head. Urie collapsed into a heap to the obvious distress of his fellow band members and the set was stopped for several minutes while medics and roadies checked if the singer was ok to continue. Then, putting two fingers up to the moron who threw the bottle, the band launched back into their opening song 'The Only Difference Between Suicide And Martyrdom Is Press Coverage'. The band also played a cover of Radiohead's 'Kharma Police' and 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' with Urie's face still visibly swollen from the bottle. Our man on the ground said: "I've never seen anything like it at a festival. There weren't many other bottles being thrown and then this one just arched towards the stage and caught him right in the face. He went down like a sack of shit."
