  • So many questions. Where do I begin? You can't connect to a wireless access point (WAP) unless your computer has the (wireless) hardware to do so. It sounds to me like what you really wanted was a wired hub to replace the wired one you had. Now in some cases, WAP come with a few spare wired ports. If this is the case and you can't get it to work, you may have to go into the setup of the device and enable the wired ports. Forgive me, but I need a lot of facts before I can dispense any solutions.
