In the PC game "The Sims" my guy really hates the outside. Why is this and how can I fix it?

Close the game window. Open your front door. Go out.

What have you made his personality to be like? Is he not very sociable, nice or active? In this case he might not like going outside. What is there for him to go outside for? Has he got a garden or anything? Sims don't like doing things unless there is a positive reason for doing so. Get him/her some plants and trees. A baseball hoop or swimming pool. Of course, these things will cost money, and unless your Sim has a job, he/she won't have any money. If you cannot be bothered with doing all this, then delete the Sim and create a new. Or just create a new one.

Get hin interested in nature.

Is it an Environment issue? Some are very picky about Environment (their interest is high). Fill the yard with expensive decorations, if you want him to be happy about it.
