What do you think about the growing movement in Texas to secede from the union to escape the move toward socialism in the U.S.? Texas GDP and population are larger than Australia's.

To each his own. I think there's always a group of people who make noise about seceding, but I will be extremely surprised if any ever follow through. They remind me of the people who say, "if so-and-so is elected I'm moving to (insert country here)".
