On AB, sure. In school? No.

Do you mean pointing every answer you receive to your questions? If that's the case then yes, if the answer is an educated one, tries to be helpful I always give points, most of the time the full amount. The only cases where I don't give points are nonsense, offensive or plain wrong ones in the case of factual questions. I often leave a comment pointing that out.

The AB does give half a point for every comment, I believe. For participation it is for the members to give points. What AB could do for participation is to give a cash incentive. How would you like that. All the same, we are all hooked, so we don't need any encouragement, I suppose.
