I think if you let the screen sit long enough, it will eventually post it. A quicker way would be to break your comments up.

It's one of Answerbag's glitches. It had nothing to do with the length of your comment. On the screenshot below, my comment was either "hey you're back" or "thank you AG." It was really short and yet it did not post. I just retyped it. For a very long comment, I suggest you highlight it first then copy it before you attempt to post it. That way, if the comment fails to post, you can easily just paste it. Saves you time.

Try to break up your comment into two or more posts. If not take a copy so if it does not go through you have it at hand and do not have to try to remember what you had written. This is a problem we have had for a very long time.
