I have 2 friends one I've known longer but don't see alot, the 2nd I see alot but have'nt known her as long. Should I feel bad that I am spending New years at my 2nd friends house but my 1st friend wasn't invited? i told my 1st friend- she seemed ok.

Sounds like you are speding New Year's Eve where you want to. Why wasn't the 1st friend invited? Haven't you told the 2nd friend your dilemma? If not, maybe you should.
In any case, make plans to spend some time with the 1st friend very soon. Clearly she is important to you.

i had a similar situation, when I met my last friend I told her up front that i did not like jealous friends, adn that my last friendship had ended bad because my former friend was jealous and wanted as many friends as possible but wanted me to not have any except for her . Sounds so childish right?
this new friend agreed saying it is not healthy to have jealous relationship, but guess what happened she was the same way, and would constantly find ways to have arguments with my other friends trying to make me pick between relationships . My other friends really tried with her but it never worked out so when they invited me out , it never included her and it made me feel uncomfortable because I didn't want to hurt her feelings and usually i would stay home. later I found out how back stabbing this person was and a very destructive person.
If your friends get along it would be great to have all your friends together but if they are jealous then I feel sorry for you and you are headed for trouble.good luck

Can you not ask your second friend if she'll invite your other friend?
