  • The bank will probably take what's in the other account
  • The bank will not only probably take the money from the other account, but it might go on your credit rating. For such a small amount it's not worth letting this happen. (if this is the actual amount). On any charge-off it is up to the bank manager to decide how to handle it. You can negotiate to make arrangements to pay, no matter the amount. This will keep it off your credit rating. If you owe one bank and do nothing it can prevent you from getting an account at OTHER banks.
