I can't say I've been to Gloucester. However I do have a friend who lives in Cheltenham and she reckons Gloucester isn't a particularly nice place. I don't think 'poo poo hole' is a great way to describe anywhere regardless.

I've lived and worked in both Cheltenham and Gloucester, they both have their good and bad aspects. You will find scummers wherever you go.
