  • No Ma'am. I don't think so. If you fall asleep in your recliner after having 3 of 4 fifths of liquor, THAT'S passing out.
  • Only if you cant come round...try more water with it...
  • Well, although "passing out" is a slang for losing consciousness, (I also just say that for falling asleep.) it is often attributed to alcohol and its drowsy or downright incapacitating factors...so if we keep it at that, if the reason you fell asleep was because of the alcohol, and not just because you were tired, then I guess it's safe to say it made you pass out. But, if you were just tired and fell asleep, drink or no drink, it isn't passing out. But I'm jealous now, because I can't seem to fall asleep right now, and all I have in my refrigerator is juice.
  • No. Just falling asleep is not passing out.
  • Not at all. It's falling asleep.
  • hmmmm, I always thought falling asleep/passing out were almost the same thing. One just happens faster then the other in my opinion.
  • No it'll just look that way to other people, soo basically yeah...
  • Depends... how much did you drink? I would say you just fell asleep but...
  • If by 'an alcoholic drink' you mean a whole bottle of Vodka, the answer would be a resouncing YES
  • Nope, I'd call that a test driving the ol' Lazy Boy. If on the other hand, you're still sipping that bevvie whilst in an unconcious state, then that could be considered a problem.
  • Were you drunk? If you just went to sleep because you were tired and warm and comfortable, that's one thing. If you were in your cups, that's another. I go to sleep in my recliner and I don't drink. So, I don't think that's passing out. If you are sipping a drink and go to sleep, you went to sleep. If it's your 7th drink in an hour and a half, you passed out.
  • I guess that would depend on how many drinks you had while you were sitting there.
  • Passing out is for quitters the answers made me laugh thank you sooo much :D
