The police use a special kind of credit card to refuel their squad cruisers. What does a law enforcement gas card look like? Can you post any images of such cards?

• what happens if they need gas somewhere other than where that fuling station is? wouldent they then need a card?

• special trips are made to the station, as far as I know, they haven't the need for gas anywhere else...I work for the parks and rec dept, we have smaller gas tanks at our shop for filling in case of an emergency and for equipment, and also carry gas cans...they might do the same, that is the most logical conclusion I can come up with, but I doubt they would need access to as much fuel as our dept.

• I asked the question because one time on a vacation in California, I saw a CHP officer insert a gas card and refuel his squad car. Highway Patrolmen and State Troopers often travel far from their headquarters so they'll need some kind of means to refuel anywhere. Hopefully John Pennington will supply an answer I'm looking for.

• oh, well you should have said highway patrol and state trooper, that is a completely different story, they are employees of the state...that's a little out of my realm, I was referring to city police officers
