Do you enjoy going to Colombia for vacations? Is there a another country you prefer instead (to go on vacation)?

As a matter of fact, I never thought of it (I live in Europe), but as you mention it, I think it might be a great experience to go there. I am curious, and therefore I can imagine to go almost anywhere. My favorite country is Sweden, though.

I don't think I would enjoy Colombia at all. There is one country that I would really like to go to and that country is England, especially Liverpool.

I've been to Colombia twice. Each time was for a month. It was great but it's not a Cancun type destination. The hotels in Cancun couldn't be any further from the true Mexico. Colombia is Colombia. You get the true feel of the country. One caveat is that Colombia has been in a civil war for about 50 years or so. Therefore there is a risk of violence. The violent crime rate is about 8 times wht it is in the US. I find Colombia to be a beautiful country and you certainly get the experience of really being in the real world if you don't lock yourself onto some resort.
