  • I would have never put my son in pink.. that is just so wrong. Most of the time he wore blue but now he also wore those neutral colors: green and yellow. I see no problem with girls wearing blue but boys in pink... not me.
  • I did dress my girls in blue but they were feminine (dresses or decorated with flowers or hearts...)clothes. They simply don't make pink clothes for boys. I wouldn't have dressed my son in pink if they did, either.
  • I SO enjoyed having a daughter that I did the pink thing along with other lovely colors, too. But I never dressed her in blue because she had no hair until she was about 4. Even with little earrings, idiots looked at her and complimented me on what a darling little boy I had. Ugh.
  • I always dressed my daughter in girl colors and my son in boy colors, well in the sense that when my ex-wife got clothing I always agreed to dressing them that way. However not necessarily pink and blue, maybe darker, grayer or lighter. But I think that pink shirts are nice and so are blue skirts and blouses.
  • I only had girls but I think it's practical to dress baby boys in blue and girls in pink. When they're really small it's difficult to determine at a glance whether a baby is boy or girl. Using those standard colors is a flag to people which gender it is.
