I have no idea, and even if I did I would try to ignore it or "consider the source." Words don't hurt me unless I allow them to do so. Gossip and talking about someone behind their back is a very cowardly and also unhealthy thing to do. It doesn't say much about the gossiper's character either usually, in my opinion. Often the ones doing the gossiping and talking trash behind a person's back (assuming it is negative, not positive things they are saying) have many more character flaws than the person about whom they are talking.

I don't hear so well, so i don't really know. I don't care a whole lot anyway, I learned a long time ago that other's opinions hold little weight. The opinions of those close to me and those I respect are the only ones that matter to me (and they would say it to my face).

It's "behind my back" and it never gets back to me, thank God. I would assume they call me weird, bizarre, anti-social, cheap, unfriendly, moody and some other choice words I would rather not write out.

As a construction foreman, I am generally referred to as an asshole. But, it is usually in a sentence like, "That guy is an asshole, but he sure knows what he's doing". I can live with that.

From what I can tell They call me Genius, Handsome, Dreamy, and Brilliant. Occasionly they say something like " her really isn't that brilliant" - But I take that as I am brilliant.

In my mind, they call me "a Genius". =) I know that friends and family call me talented and intelligent because I started my own business recently. As far as derogatory name-calling, I know my best friend from high school has told her kids that I'm snobby and rich. Neither is true but we lost touch after high school so she was not around for our dirt-poor days. Recently, we reconnected and she brought her kids to my home and the kids asked where all my cars were to which she replied, "The chauffeurs took them all to be cleaned". I thought she was kidding until they all came inside and the kids asked where all my maids and butlers were and she said that I didn't have any then the youngest replied "but mommy you said she was super rich and fancy". Out of the mouth of babes!
