I think 2pac. Some of his lyrics are so true and strong they often make me emotional. Also many nowaday rappers say he was there inspiration! Hope this helps, Christina

tribe called quest in my world...very rhythmic, lots of culture, UNPRETENTIOUS (NEVER put $$-flauntiness in their music...they were all about their style and not about flaunting "what i have and you don't" unless it was about their talent)

It's gotta be Phase2. He alone invented wild style graffiti, characters instead of letters, timberland boots all year long and so on.
